OUR PROCESS
Our process is very simple and streamlined.
1. Drawings are sent over to us.
We can work with files in a variety of formats. The most compatible being the AutoCAD (.dwg) format.
The format of the design material has not limited us in producing photo-realistic renderings.
We have worked off of the most crude conventional sketches, taking a concept and turning it into a presentable 3D rendering.
And we have worked off of a 3D model built by the designer to complete a more photo-realistic presentation.
2. 3D model is built and a project page is estableished.
We take the architectural drawings and build a 3D model based on the plans and elevations.
The level of detail is dependent on the amount of information we are provided, and the designer's desire to show a more detailed model or a conceptual block out of their project.
Once the model is presentable, cameras are set up from the relative perspectives that have been requested and a preview rendering is generated and uploaded to a project page where the client can give more direction if any modifications need to be made.
3. Textures/Materials and lighting schemes are applied.
Once the model is completed to the designer's satisfaction, all specified materials and textures are applied to the built 3D model and the project page is continually updated.
This texturing/mapping process goes through a number of cycles until the client is fully satisfied with the way the textures are showing up in the perspective, and all colors and textures are to the designer's liking and intent.
4. People and entourage are added to the scene.
After modeling and texturing are completed, we have a base image to work off of and the installation of decorative elements are installed.
We have an extensive library of people and other elements that are added to the scene to give it more realism.
3D models are used and augmented with photographic images in a touch-up process to get life-like results.
5. Post-production touch-ups are made and the project is ready for delivery.
After the image is approved by the client, the final rendered image goes through a number of filters in photo-shop before the image is ready for print or delivery.
After a final upload to the project page and approval by the client, the rendering is delivered either electronically through the project page or delivered if printed by our office.
